Our Team

Kia Ora everyone,
My name is Liv and I am the social worker for Rachel’s House Trust. I have a passion for working with mothers of all ages. As a mother myself to two beautiful daughters I am aware of some of the challenges we as new parents face. My role is to support, advocate and empower parent’s and whanau to reach their potential. I have also completed my training as a peer supporter for breastfeeding. I love expanding my knowledge of child development in my spare time as well as enjoying family adventures with my husband and children.

Kia Ora,

My name is Andrea and I am the Senior Support worker for Rachel’s House Trust.  My background has seen me over the years working as a Primary school and Early childhood teacher and tutor and a family support worker.  I am married and we have two grown sons who are both married, I enjoy spending time with my whanau and being an O’Ma to my two young grandchildren.

I am a firm believer that when a mother has a healthy sense of her wellbeing this translates into the wellbeing of her tamariki and whanau.  I enjoy being able to support, inspire, and enable mothers to be the best mums they can possibly be.  My role within Rachel’s House Trust is to support, advocate, and empower parents and whanau to reach their potential.

Kia ora,

My name is Lydia and I am the Hub Administrator & Volunteer Coordinator for Rachel’s House Trust.  One of the things I enjoy most about my role at RHT is seeing parents from our local community receive support. As a mum of two primary-aged children, I know that it takes a village to raise our tamariki and I love that RHT forms part of that village for so many in North Canterbury. When I’m not in the office my family and I love to get out and about and go on adventures around New Zealand.
